Phosphors Technology

‘Sunlight’, the natural resource every living creature has been historically benefited from, is what TRI-R Project defines as the optimum light for our body. Sunlight has consecutive wavelength components of color. What is call spectrum are the distributions of each color wavelengths. TRI-R Project focused on sunlight spectrum, and by actually removing detrimental ultraviolet rays and infrared rays with high radiant heat from it, we succeeded in developing ‘high-quality spectrum that’s most suitable for our body’, with the combination of Purple LED and phosphors technique of patented technology. Whitish-colored light that we recognize through our eyes is in fact formed by countless light spectrums. Wave-lengths, namely electromagnetic waves within the range of seven colors (about 380mm-780mm) those diffract by rainbow and prism are called, ‘visible lights’. TRI-R, is the superior technology that enables to produce LED light source with ‘95% Reproduction of Sunlight *1’, within the range of visible light.

Sunlight Reproducibility Rate is a numeric converted exponent of integrity between sunlight (black-body radiation) of same color temperature and identical emission intensity and, illumination light’s emit spectral. As numbers grow, it’s closer to sunlight’s quality.

 

 

Characteristics of Continuous Spectrum

Typical illumination light source requires white emission, though white emission is not single color but is formed by three primary colors of Red (R), Green (G), and Blue (B). Production of white emission varies by light source; fluorescent light is formed by the combination of light’s three primary colors (RGB), when typical LED is a composition of Blue LED (B) and partially an excitation emission of Green (G) and Red (R).
As stated, white emission that seems identical would vary accordance to type of light source, luminescence emission of light radiation, and spectrum (spectral distribution).
TRI-R succeeded in producing natural and smooth continuous spectrum with the combination of Purple LED and original phosphor technology, those succeeded in converting all emission from LED to excitation ray to generate white emission to maintain degree of emission intensity.

Excellent Color Rendering Property

Spectrum of light composure differs in the projection of color and presentation since its light sources hold distinguished characteristics. For example, the color of cloth projected in-store is not identical when showed outside, and this occurs because spectrum characteristics of natural light and store illumination light differ.

LED light source emits light through its own process that’s dissimilar to sunlight or fire man used to apply as his lighting. Under typical LED light source, major colors those projects unnatural colors to man’s eye are ‘Red’ and ‘middle colors between Blue and Green’.
Color rendering property is the numerical rate of this illumination light (light source)’s influence on projection to object. General evaluation system of the property is call, ‘CRI (Color Rendering Index)’, the average rendering color evaluation number. Further, there are cases to apply, ‘CQS (Color Quality Scale)’, evaluation system that is constructed based on rather subjective capture of color by human sensitivity.

RI-R marked extremely high rates on both scales. At average rendering color evaluation, CRI, it marked Ra97, and for new evaluation system, CQS, it scored Qa96.

TRI-R is possible to light object equivalent to sunlight’s vividness and color and therefore is capable in expressing natural color from man’s eyes.

Wide range of color temps available 2000K – 6500K

TRI-R achieved to provide extremely diverse range of color temperatures versus to typical LED. Its capabilities can produce from candle fire’s (2000K) to mid-afternoon of fine weather day’s (6500K). Moreover, since it reproduces sunlight spectrums at all degree of its spectrum, it has natural color rendering property at any color temperature, lessening unpleasant dazzle to our eyes. This allows multiple selections to illumination planning. From office environment with adjusted color temperature to entering sunlight, or comforting space with color temperature identical to candle’s. By applying this extensive range of color temperature and sunlight spectrum, it’s possible to develop circadian system that reproduce solar day’s color temperature of sunlight spectrum or obtain natural dimmer toning likely to incandescent light bulb.

Tender Wave for Body

General LED light has remarkably different spectral characteristics compare to natural light. The cause is the production of its white emission. Its compositions are Blue LED transmitted light and phosphor that’s formed by excitation emission of Yellow and Red those absorbed Blue light. Thus protrusion of Blue transmitted light territory enlarges.
This Blue transmitted light (Blue Light) is at the early stage of discussion since it may cause eyestrain or headache, sleeping disorder and such.

TRI-R, with the combination of Purple LED and original phosphor technology, it provides natural spectrum characteristics with minimum part of light intensity’s protrusion by converting all lighting from LED to excitation emission.
